Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Terms

These Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Terms (the "Subscription Terms") explain how the paid "Premium" subscription in the Laflai app is purchased, billed, automatically renewed, cancelled and refunded. They apply together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; for subscription-specific matters, these Subscription Terms prevail in case of conflict.

Laflai is a personal flirting/messaging co-pilot app for adults (18+). Laflai is not a dating app: it has no matching, no profiles of other people, and no in-app chat with others. It is a personal tool that analyzes screenshots of your own conversations and suggests replies. By purchasing a Premium subscription, you accept these Subscription Terms. If you are under 18, you may not purchase Premium or use the app.

1. What Premium Unlocks

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that gives you access to Laflai's advanced features. The scope of Premium may be updated from time to time; the scope shown in-app and in the relevant store at the moment of purchase governs. Premium typically includes:

  • Higher or unlimited usage allowances for analyzing your conversation screenshots,
  • More reply suggestions and greater personalization,
  • More tracked flirts and richer interest/compatibility history in the "People" feature,
  • Enhanced options for shareable cards such as the "Flirt Scorecard,"
  • Other premium functionality added over the life of the subscription.

Free (non-Premium) use may remain available with limited allowances, at Laflai's discretion.

2. Seller & Billing: Apple App Store / Google Play

Important: you do not buy Premium directly from us. Depending on where you downloaded the app, subscriptions are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or by Google Play. These stores act as the merchant of record for the subscription; they collect payment, not us.

  • Your payment is taken by the store using the payment method tied to the Apple ID or Google account you are signed in with on your device.
  • We never see or store your full card details (card number, expiry, CVV).
  • Validation of purchase/renewal receipts and unlocking your subscription entitlement in the app are handled through our infrastructure provider RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat only verifies your subscription status; it does not take the card payment.

Your store transactions are also subject to the store's own agreements: Apple Media Services Terms for Apple, and the Google Play Terms of Service and Payments Terms for Google.

3. Pricing

  • The applicable price, the subscription period (e.g., weekly, monthly, or yearly) and any free-trial period are shown clearly in-app and on the store purchase screen before you buy.
  • Prices may vary by region, country and currency and are subject to local tax/commission rules set by the store.
  • The price that applies to you is the one displayed on the screen you confirm at the time of purchase.

4. Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions renew automatically.

  • Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (week/month/year).
  • The renewal charge is taken by the store from your payment method within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • The renewal is charged at the store's then-current price (see Section 9 — changes to plans & prices).
  • You can manage your subscription and auto-renew setting at any time in your device's store account settings (see Section 6).

5. Free Trial

Where a plan offers a free trial:

  • The trial length and the price that applies afterwards are shown on the purchase screen.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and the first period is charged.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is generally not refunded or carried over once a paid subscription begins (per store policy).
  • A free trial may be offered only once per user/device; eligibility is determined by the store.

6. Cancellation — How To Do It

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is done in the subscription settings of the store you bought from, not in our app.

iOS (Apple App Store):

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad.
  2. Tap your name / Apple ID at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Laflai.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. (Alternatively: App Store > profile icon > Subscriptions.)

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right.
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  4. Select Laflai.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription and complete the steps.

Key points about cancellation:

  • Cancelling only stops future renewals.
  • When you cancel, your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; Premium turns off at the end of that period.
  • Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund (see Section 7).

7. Refunds

Because subscriptions are sold by the stores, refunds are governed by the relevant store's refund policy. Since we are not the merchant of record, we cannot directly refund your card payment. We will, however, do our best to assist with your request.

Apple (App Store) refunds:

  • You can request a refund through Apple's "Report a Problem" page (reportaproblem.apple.com).
  • The refund decision is made by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's refund policy.

Google (Google Play) refunds:

  • You can request a refund under the Google Play refund policy, via your purchase history in the Play Store or Google's support channels.
  • The refund decision is made by Google under Google Play's policy.

If you contact us, we will help point you to the right channel and support you through the process; the final refund decision, however, rests with the store.

8. Important Consumer Note (Right of Withdrawal / Cooling-Off)

Laflai is a digital service supplied electronically and performed immediately.

Under applicable consumer law and the store terms, where supply/performance of the digital content or service has begun with your express consent, the 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) that would normally apply does not apply. When you purchase Premium and start using Premium features, you are deemed to have consented to immediate performance of the service and to acknowledge that your right of withdrawal then ends.

This does not remove other rights granted to you by law. EU/EEA and UK consumers retain any mandatory statutory rights under local consumer-protection law; in practice, subscription refunds operate through the store policies as described in Section 7.

9. Changes to Plans & Prices

  • We may update Premium plans, their scope and their prices from time to time.
  • If there is a material change to the price that applies to you or to the subscription terms, you will be notified with reasonable advance notice in-app and/or through the store, in accordance with applicable law and store rules.
  • A price increase, where the store requires it, is subject to your consent; if you do not consent, your subscription may simply end without renewing at the end of the current period.
  • Continuing your subscription after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Account/App Deletion vs. Subscription

Important: deleting the app or closing your Laflai account does NOT automatically cancel your store subscription.

  • The store subscription is tied to your Apple ID / Google account, independently of the app.
  • To stop renewal charges, you must cancel the subscription in the relevant store's subscription settings (see Section 6).
  • We recommend cancelling in the store first if you have an active subscription before deleting your account.

11. Processing of Your Subscription Data

To manage the subscription we process limited data: your subscription status/entitlement, validation data for purchase and renewal receipts, and usage counters. We process this data to perform our contract with you (providing the Premium service); under the GDPR the lawful basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and under the KVKK the corresponding legal grounds apply.

  • Subscription status and receipt validation are handled through RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). This involves a cross-border transfer under KVKK Art. 9 and, under the GDPR, is carried out with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).   • Your conversation screenshots are not part of the billing process. They are processed only for analysis, permanently deleted from our storage as soon as analysis completes, and are not retained. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Consent records of which consent you gave (disclosure / image processing / cross-border transfer), the version and the timestamp are retained for the legal proof-obligation period.

12. Disclaimer & Acceptable Use

Premium is provided "as is." The analysis and reply suggestions generated by Laflai are automated, are not professional advice (legal, psychological or relationship advice), and do not guarantee any particular outcome (for example, that a person will respond favorably). Whether you send a suggestion is your choice; you alone are responsible for the messages you send and the decisions you make.

You agree to use Laflai and Premium features only for lawful, non-objectionable purposes; you may not use them for harassment, threats, misuse of content belonging to others, or any unlawful purpose. These acceptable-use rules and the rules on content generated by the app apply together with the Terms of Use.

On Apple devices: these Subscription Terms and the Terms of Use are concluded between you and Laflai, not Apple; Apple is not a party. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the end-user license agreement (under the Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement) and may enforce these terms against you.
